Why Templo’s CASI Identity Matters

As a branding curator, I champion Templo’s CASI identity. It avoids alarm, choosing human signs and playful cut-outs instead. The result feels purposeful, artful, and genuinely inviting to creatives.

The logo draws from hobo hieroglyphics, using pragmatic, human marks to communicate warmth. A child’s gesture became the breakthrough, yielding a mark that reads like a living symbol. This origin story gives the brand an honest narrative, rooted in everyday experience.

Templo paired Matisse-style cut-outs with hand animated motion, preserving imperfect, tactile movement. A quiet Grotesk typeface keeps the system composed, letting shapes breathe and lead. Applications, from posters to digital interfaces, feel coherent, human, and appropriately optimistic.

The identity scales elegantly, working on print, web, and environmental graphics with equal integrity. Its handmade motion softens climate messaging, inviting participation rather than prescribing behavior. Design teams will study this project for its balance of tactility, narrative clarity, and empathetic tone.
