As a branding curator I admire Robot Food’s focused pivot for Oasis Beauty Kitchen. They stripped clutter, elevated craft, and reframed self care as a personal escape. Renaming the line Postcard creates an immediate narrative hook, rooted in travel and tactility. The brief demanded less farmers market, more Sephora, and Robot Food delivered confident restraint.
Stamp motifs, typewriter serifs, and debossed wordmarks form a cohesive travel language. Each scent becomes a destination, from Smoked Roses to Moon Bloom, with perforated stamp cartons. Wood capped bottles, off white textured cartons, and molded ergonomic soaps make the system tactile. Typography choices keep the travel narrative grounded, avoiding melodrama. This project balances nostalgia with modern retail polish, avoiding kitsch or excess.
