Tactile MI! Packaging
As a branding curator, I recommend Caroline Lafon’s MI! packaging project. It translates Franco-Vietnamese culinary history into a bold, tactile identity. Warm reds and toasted creams pair with heavy sans-serif typography for appetite appeal and clarity.
Material choices are the real star, unbleached paper stocks and greaseproof wraps add texture and honesty. Custom stamps, catalog numbers and a clear grid system give a professional, organized feel across formats.
The identity uses scale contrast, not decoration, to deliver presence and cohesion across all touchpoints. Studio shots show how the wordmark breathes on packaging, and stamps and labels feel authentic and functional.
See close ups and detailed construction notes in the full write up, images reveal the system’s tactile logic. A must read for designers who value craft, restraint, and purposeful packaging design.
