Two Toulouse clubs, one jersey, a scrollable walk through Place du Capitole where design, video and tech tell the story

Capitolium, a Masterclass in Place-Driven Brand Experience

As a branding curator, I champion projects where place, craft, and narrative converge. Capitolium is a masterclass in city-led storytelling, where two elite clubs share a single, unprecedented jersey. Supercolor transforms the Place du Capitole into navigation logic, making the site feel like a familiar stroll. The reveal animation breathes life into the jersey, pairing ceremony with cinematic pacing. Technically, the team balances full-screen video and scroll interactions without sacrificing performance. Kirby as the CMS is a strategic choice, keeping the experience fast, resilient, and content-forward. It honors local loyalty, sports culture, and streetwear sensibility in equal measure truly today.

Beyond spectacle, Capitolium functions as a campaign hub, uniting video, retail, events, and social activation. The site holds narrative threads, routes fans toward ticketing and commerce, and elevates clubs without diluting their identities. Working with an evolving global art direction forced decisive choices, a lesson in designing against a moving target. The technical architecture remains invisible, while interactions feel fluid and intentional. For designers, brand directors, and curious fans, this case study offers actionable insights about place-based strategy. It highlights animation that serves story, and technology that enables creativity. Read it to see how collaborations can be carried online today.
